Such a clergy is canonical. Some apostles were married, including Peter. There were married clergy up until the late middle ages. Even now, the church accepts and ordains any married Episcopal priest who converts, and its Eastern Rite clergy are married. St. Paul advises that bishops should have but one wife (i.e., not be divorced). A married clergy would do much to bring the church back from its abyss.
