No one expects killing to stop- killing will have to happen but the killing of healthy adoptable animals will be cut to a minimum with lots of hard work and dedication to a new direction. It is working around the country in many cities but Animal Rights people that honestly don't think ANY animal should be owned don't like it.

Better dead than in a home as a 'slave' according to the peta propaganda President Ingrid...etc...

The HSUS dosen't even run a shelter but they run to get money every chance they can like in the case of the Vic dogs that they said should be killed but now many are living at the Best Friends sanctuary in Utah with no incidents of attacks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11838465.post-2079749676928984602008-01-15T10:54:00.000-07:002008-01-15T10:54:00.000-07:00Thanks, Dona. My father was a veterinarian, and was most vocal about the importance of neuter/spay. I have assisted the Montana Neuter/Spay Task Force with three visits to Great Falls and we have had good success, more than 1900 dogs and cats.

What many people don't realize is that this must be an ongoing program, and should be assisted by city and county governments. The old "ounce of prevention" versus the "pound of cure."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
