Over the weekend the weather suddenly jumped from summer to fall, though the technical change is not until September 22. This is usually what happens here.
A lot of other shifts are interacting with this. Partly this is about politics and partly about businesses that have to do with the Internet. Strategies, interactions, inventions are happening fast, sometimes behind the scenes so that they come upon us as suddenly as the jet stream moving down the parallels.
It's scary. Everyone is a little freaked. My antidote is watching George Lakoff on YouTube. So far, it works.
So I'm going to indulge myself and ease up on the discipline of keeping a regular schedule. Maybe just for a while or maybe over the winter at least. Just alerting you.
