SCRAPS.
3 AM. Full moon in fog.
Distant siren. Road barely open. Fire?
Maybe it's the mother cat warning the others that her kittens are not to be eaten.
My nose whistles.
A giant rodent is gnawing my shoulder.
Back to sleep.
