The Last Ride
It is with deep regret that we inform fans of Kari Lynn Dell that she has taken the last ride home. She succumbed to cancer after expertly and with great passion out-smarting cancer for the last six years. During that time, she won many break-away roping championships, became a best-selling author, helped her husband run the ranch, and was a mom to an amazing son. In her own words she never "battled cancer" and asked her family and friends never to utter those words in the description of her sickness. Cancer was merely an inconvenience in her schedule. She did not suffer through chemo as many cancer patients but rarely had a bad day for six years which enabled her to do whatever she damn well pleased in true cowgirl fashion.
Before her passing, she completed her Texas Rodeo romance series with the last book, Relentless in Texas, released on June 30, 2020.
The rest of this message is copyrighted, so I'll have to ask for permission to copy it or find out where you can get access. In the meantime, note that Kari Lynn Dell was a Blackfeet writer who did not dwell on the past, but on the future and lived it all her days.
